Memory of Dew at Ochgalleri, Stockholm
By Nicole Walker and Annie Hägg
During the night ferns curl up into spiral buds and mist lies heavy on the carpet of moss. Before the dawn, before the memory beads evaporate, there’s a capsule of life, a container of scent, reminiscence resting in a vessel.
This collaborative piece emerged from the wish of combining the fragility and vulnerability of glass with the solidity of steel. The process was a play with merging contrary ideas like natural and organic. A meeting of softness and sharpness, dead and living.
